Winter has hit us hard, which means less walks in the park at the weekends, and more cozy days chilling under fluffy blankets.Recently I subscribed to Netflix, and it hasoffered me a way to hide from the doomed reality of our world, with all constant bad news on tv, by escaping for a few hours with my favourite tv shows, even with some naughty popcorn every now and then. Nothing better than enjoying a show that allows you to you break ties with the real world. Here are my favourites:

My all time favourite Gossip Girl: Hey I know this is a bloggers classic, but so what? I just love it. And I’m currently going through the entire series again, Who doesn’t love a bit of drama? A tv show about the lives of the wealthy in New York, with to die for wardrobe, plot twists and relationships that leave you dreaming about true love, and just basically drooling every second over Chace Crawford or Ed Westwick, it’s impossible to look away from all the fabulousness that is the Upper East Side.

Gilmore Girls: A definite feel good show, where you can just sit for hours watching, feeling guiltless about not doing anything. A wonderful show with a beautiful bond between mother and daughter. As she grows up you begin to grow up with her, watching their little story evolve before your eyes, it also takes place in a super cute town in America with constant funny conversations and situations.

Vampire Diaries: Another must in my weekly schedule, I just hate it when something comes up and I can’t watch it, every episode has a twist that leaves me wanting more. I’ve watched the entire show and never looked back. A show of battled romace, Vampires, Witches, Werewolves, haunted towns, Lovers, Loses, everything and anything goes!

Lucifer: “In the beginning … the angel Lucifer was cast out of Heaven and condemned to rule Hell for all eternity. Until he decided to take a vacation….”

This is my most recent find. Funnily enough I spotted the advert for it on the side of a London bus. And it’s completely thrilling, who hasn’t thought of making a deal with the devil? We all have those little angels and devils on our shoulders. So what happens when the devil decides to leave hell and decides to take human form? Watch the show and find out, I promise you won’t be disappointed, after all even angels can be devils, you will also find a Killer ‘devil themed’ soundtrack

Suits: Last on my list is Suits, the swaggering, walk-and-talk drama set in a New York law firm. You don’t want to miss out, ’cause as soon as you look away, all hell as been let out with enough plotting and back-stabbing to run an army. But Harvey Specter can save the day for me any time, who doesn’t dream of a man in a suit coming to the rescue? “Sometimes the good guy’s got to do bad things to make the bad guys pay” one of his best quotes.

What are your favourites, for a cold wintery lazy day?

Love.
